Facilities for the Disabled

Wheelchair patrons

A designated wheelchair area is available towards the rear of the auditorium with level access for entry and emergency exit.

Wheelchair customers are not allowed to move out of their wheelchairs into a normal theatre seat.

Wheelchair spaces can only be booked directly through the box office

Restricted mobility patrons

Patrons with restricted mobility and whom cannot use stairs should book seats in row K, 1 to 24 as this is the only row that has level access for entry and emergency exit.

Row K seats can only be booked directly through the box office.

Hearing impaired

An induction loop is installed for the hard of hearing. Please ask the front of house team for this on your entry to the theatre.

Please advise the box office of any special requirements when booking so we can book you suitable seating.

Accessible toilets and baby changing facilities

We have fully accessible toilets and baby changing facilities in the toilet area next to the theatre entrance. If these are in use, additional accessible facilities are available in the leisure centre which is fully accessible.

Assistance dogs

Customers who require assistance dogs to be present with them for a performance are asked to book into the wheelchair spaces as there is space in this area for your assistance dog.

The following arrangements are made in order to allow customers with assistance dogs to have the best possible experience:

  • Water bowls for assistance dogs are provided on request.
  • On request, the theatre will provide familiarisation with the facility as part of an induction.
  • Guidelines are provided for staff on how to interact with assistance dogs.

The assistance dog is the responsibility of its owner, who must ensure that:

  • It is kept on a lead at all times when walking around the premises.
  • It does not foul the facility or grounds.
  • Its requirements in relation to toileting and feeding are met.
  • It behaves in an appropriate manner at all times and does not disrupt others.

In the unlikely event that the dog does foul inside the leisure centre, the owner must report this to a member of staff to ensure that the area is cleaned and sanitised.

Programme of Events

A regular 'what's on guide is published throughout the year and is available from the box office.
